Sampardai Kar Sewa Sarhali, Tarn Taran, with the co-operation of the sangat, purchased eight acres of land in Raipur, the capital of Chhatisgarh, for the construction of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Senior Secondary School to be completed by December 2012. Classes will commence in January 2013. Thereafter, with the co-operation of the sangat, a professional college, a nursing college, a B.Ed college and ultra modern hostels for students, all associated with Guru Gobind Group of Co-educational Institutions, Raipur, will be constructed.
In March 2012, a religious function was organized on the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony of the second wing of the school. Baba Sukha Singh Ji, Chief, Sampardai Kar Sewa Sarhali, honoured eminent personalities with the robe of honor (siropa). Those honored included Sri Rajesh Monat, State Transport Minister, S. Jaspal Singh, Social Reformer, S. Dalip Singh, State Chairman Minority Commission, S. Parmjit Singh Dutta, Media Incharge of the institutions, Mr. Kalsi Chairman State Electricity Board, S. Baldev Singh Bhatia, Patron Sikh Youth Forum, Chhatisgarh, S. Harcharan Singh Sahni, Forum Member and Manish Dhru, Counsellor. Kirtan Darbar, Katha Vichar, Gurmat Vichar and Langar were held during the religious assembly. In the evening, Kabbadi matches were played between the teams of Guru Nanak Club, Hirapur and Guru Gobind Singh Club, Tatiband.
